Chapter 1: Mari-Anne

Page one of Mari-Anne. Mari and Anne are in the forest. Anne is practicing with her crossbow, but doesn't get a bullseye. Mari gets called home.

Page two of Mari-Anne. Mari and Anne walk through the woods back to Mari's house. There is a greenhouse beside Mari's house.

Page three of Mari-Anne. Mari and Anne go inside the greenhouse. Mari's mom is inside, and she asks Anne to leave.

Page four of Mari-Anne. Anne leaves the greenhouse. Mari's mom tells Mari that she can't invite anyone into her greenhouse, because she is a witch and magic is illegal.

Page five of Mari-Anne. Evaline explains to Mari that they need to be careful. Mari agrees and askes why Evaline called her. Evaline wants Mari to bring her dad his lunch. Mari asks why Evaline can't do it.

Page six of Mari-Anne. Reveal, Evaline is in a wheelchair. Mari nervously says that she was kidding and leaves the greenhouse, saying goodbye to her mom.

Page seven of Mari-Anne. Mari leaves the greenhouse and tells Anne that they are going to the town hall to deliver her dad's lunch.

Page eight of Mari-Anne. Nikko, Miko, and Sam are running a lemonade stand. It isn't going well. A strange man named Rupert offers to buy one lemonade.

Page nine of Mari-Anne. Rupert drinks the lemonade while Miko tells Rupert about this business plan. The lemonade is disgusting. Rupert tells them not to poison their customers and leaves. Mari and Anne walk in and Sam calls them losers.

Page ten of Mari-Anne. Mari and Sam argue. Anne is not happy about this. Miko stops them and tells Sam that she's driving away potential customers. Mari says that "We're good".

Page eleven of Mari-Anne. Mari takes out the juice that her mom gave her to give to her dad. She offers it to Miko saying that it's the best. Miko says he hates it even though he clearly loved it. Mari and Anne leave the lemonade stand with an almost empty bottle of juice.

Page twelve of Mari-Anne. Mari and Anne make it to the Town Hall and give Mari's dad, Theodore, his lunch.

Page thirteen of Mari-Anne. Eli, Anne's dad, shows up and talks to the girls. Theodore realises his drink is almost empty.

Page fourteen of Mari-Anne. Mari and Anne leave Eli and Theodore.

Page 15 of Mari-Anne. Mari and Anne have a fun day and go home with their respective families.

Page 16 of Mari-Anne. A monster stands in the woods.
